I love winning prizes on book blogs. It’s so exciting to open my mailbox and see a perfect, book-sized package waiting for me. I’ve won a few this summer and it’s been so much fun! I’m like a little kid on Christmas morning opening my presents.

Well, I’ve learned a valuable lesson: Thinking I could participate in a Huge TBR readathon the same time I’ve set a self-imposed goal of completing the final revision of my book is not a great idea. In fact, it’s a very BAD idea. *sigh* I still read some of the books on my list, but sadly was way off my goal TBR reading mark.

A great big CONGRATS!!! to Beth Revis @ Writing It Out. She just sealed a deal with Razorbill/Penguin for her debut novel. Hooray! Her novel Across the Universe is due out Spring 2011.
